Users Now Able to Create Adjustments and Endorsements on Cancelled Policies

Previously, the Bridge Specialty Suite only allowed users to create an Endorsement or Adjustment on a Bound policy term. A new Master Cover setting, Allow Endorsements and Adjustments on Cancelled Policy Term, has been added to the Endorsement and Adjustment Settings panel of the Policy Settings page in Master Covers. When the checkbox is selected, users will be able to create adjustments and endorsements for a cancelled policy term.

For newly created endorsements or adjustments from cancelled policies, users cannot void any transactions while the policy is cancelled.

In addition, this functionality has been extended to allow users to create an Endorsement or Adjustment on a Cancelled policy via the Import Submission and Import Policy web services.

Note that Endorsement Extensions cannot be created on Cancelled policy terms and an error message will display upon saving the extension.
